SELIN KENT is a Brooklyn-based fine jewelry designer whose work is characterized by clean, geometric forms and a refined yet playful sensibility. The eponymous collection consists of everyday staples as well as one-of-a-kind creations. 

Drawing from both nature and architecture, the collection explores the interplay between various forms and shapes, textures in metal and unique color combinations. Dualities are explored and exemplified by the usage of of curves and lines, space and negative space, and feminine and masculine. The result is deliberately and thoughtfully designed pieces that are well-balanced and wearable.

Selin believes that jewelry is highly sentimental and a meaningful form of self-expression. Whether it’s to mark a special milestone, a moment in time, or strengthen ties to family and place; jewelry helps us convey our stories. As such, pieces from the collection are meant to be cherished for years and passed down to future generations. They are crafted to stand the test of time. 

Each piece is meticulously made by expert artisans in New York by using responsibly sourced precious stones and recycled metals, ensuring a commitment to the highest quality craftsmanship as well as minimal environmental impact. Central to the brand’s ethos is the belief that jewelry is a connection to the earth and with this comes a responsibility that we do not take lightly.

Selin takes a hands-on approach to both production and design, personally sourcing and hand-selecting stones and materials for the collection as well as one-of-a-kind and custom pieces. In addition to continually updating and refreshing the collection, Selin works closely with customers to bring to life bespoke pieces and to repurpose family heirlooms.

Drawing inspiration from powerful and talented women who have left their mark, every piece is designed with a muse in mind. Pieces from the collection are named after real-life, fictional or mythological heroines. Designed by a woman for women everywhere, the collection is an homage to the perseverance and strength of the female spirit.
